In the initial two weeks of April, Ethereum-based loans witnessed growing liquidation, whereas crypto prices made a reasonable comeback after a very recent selling-off. In the case of Ethereum, it seemingly encompasses almost the entire lending scenario. As per The Block’s data dashboard, almost $80 million in liquidation is spent on lending protocol Aave, and nearly $50 million is spent on liquidation in the case of Compound, including the maximum amount of liquidation. A similar situation cropped up way back in June 2022. This took place due to the breakdown of the $40 billion Terra ecosystem.
