Tyler Swope, a trader and analyst, has announced that he is buying as much Ethereum as possible. He claims the second-largest cryptocurrency would go through a chain break, with tokens being distributed to holders. The contentious upgrade will come from EIP 1559, which will by default "burn" transaction gas fees. The proposal is being bundled with the London hard fork, which is set to go live in July. It has sparked a backlash from miners.
