Elon Musk's plan to raise the block size of the meme token has been criticised by Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Dogecoin. He claims that increasing block size would make running complete nodes challenging for Dogecoin holders. He points out that shortening block times, the block size, and lowering fees all come at the expense of decentralisation thus jeopardising the chain's fundamental assets. Many people are blaming Musk for the crypto crash, which saw a 48 percent drop in value.
