Data suggests that Bitcoin (BTC) has become significantly more decentralized in the last year. According to Blockchain.com, hash rate distribution is rapidly favouring small and unknown miners. Given the enormous price increase over the last year, Bitcoin miners have not become more "corporate". Rather, mining is becoming more anonymous as small-scale businesses join in. The trend in hash rate distribution has been noticeable since the March 2020 crash, and it has intensified this year.
