The bills that were brought by Nevada legislators back in February 2019 have been signed by the state governor. The most important bill among these is SB161 which creates a regulatory sandbox for fintech firms in the state. U.S. Department of Business and Industry will develop and administer the sandbox. The second bill SB162 will create a definition for “Public Blockchain” and it also enhances the legal credibility of electronic certificates.
