As trust in traditional savings dwindles, one in every five Australians believes that cryptocurrency is the route to homeownership. Almost a quarter of those polled expressed anxiety about the declining value of money in traditional cash savings. Almost half of the baby boomers polled said they haven't invested in cryptocurrency because of fears about volatility. One out of every five survey respondents presently owns or has previously held crypto assets, with 14% claiming to have an active crypto portfolio.
