Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain analytics firm backed by OpenAI’s Sam Altman, is set to launch a crypto derivatives exchange targeting retail investors. The platform will operate from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, benefiting from tax incentives. Arkham aims to capture part of the $3.07 trillion crypto derivatives market, leveraging its 880,000 monthly active users and the decline in Binance's market share. The company has also boosted its global visibility with a sponsorship deal with Turkish football club Galatasaray, but it avoids the U.S. due to regulatory complexities.
