WazirX, an Indian cryptocurrency exchange, froze $3 million in USDT stolen during a July 2024 cyberattack linked to North Korea’s Lazarus Group. The hack resulted in the theft of $235 million worth of digital assets. This recovery marks a significant step in WazirX's efforts to restore investor confidence and retrieve stolen funds. The exchange is working with law enforcement, forensic experts, and legal authorities to track and recover the remaining assets.
