Reportedly, BlackRock and several other prominent investors provided cryptocurrency mining company Core Scientific with a loan of approximately $500 million by purchasing its secured convertible notes. Most funding came from Ibex Investors, who acquired convertible notes worth around $100 million. In November and December, the company provided operating support and data center colocation services for 91,000 and 80,500 customer-owned ASIC systems respectively, representing approximately 37% and 34% of the operational mining fleet.
