Sam Bankman-Fried, the 33-year-old former CEO of FTX, has been transferred from Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center to the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City. This facility serves as a transit point for inmates being relocated to other prisons. The transfer follows Bankman-Fried's unauthorized video interview with Tucker Carlson, during which he discussed his prison experiences and interactions with fellow inmate Sean "Diddy" Combs. He is currently serving a 25-year sentence for orchestrating a multibillion-dollar fraud involving his cryptocurrency exchange, FTX. The Bureau of Prisons has not disclosed the final destination for his incarceration.
