Yesterday, a handful of Salvadorans protested the country's acceptance of Bitcoin as its official currency in the Legislative Assembly. The "Block of Resistance and Popular Rebellion" organized the protest, which utilized banners and slogans to urge that the so-called Bitcoin Law, which makes BTC legal money, be repealed. It is believed that 77% of Salvadorans believe it is a poor idea. The opposition party, which formerly included Bukele, has filed a lawsuit to stop the Bitcoin Law from taking effect.
