Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has announced that the highly anticipated Chang Hard Fork upgrade is expected to be completed in June. This milestone marks Cardano's transition into the "Age of Voltaire", introducing a sophisticated governance model with annual budgets, a treasury, and community-driven decision-making processes. Hoskinson emphasized that this upgrade represents the most significant development in Cardano's history, describing the future blockchain as a decentralized civilization supported by millions globally. The hard fork will be initiated once 70% of Stake Pool Operators (SPOs) update to the new node version 9.0. This transformation aims to implement the most advanced blockchain governance system to date.
