Rhode Island will put its plan into action by allowing blockchain to run its entire government. The move is detailed in a recent purchasing proposal submitted by the state with the aim of exploring the viability of using blockchain. When it comes to density it is the most populated state in the U.S. and having blockchain will bring more efficiency and increased functionality. The technology includes “antifraud, contracts, medical marijuana, records, notarization, registration and licensing, investigative evidence control and more.”
