Bybit has confirmed that several executives have "changed roles" following a mishandled Notcoin (NOT) launch, resulting in $23 million in compensation issued to 320,000 users. According to Wu Blockchain, some executives "voluntarily resigned," and new technical and spot managers were recruited. Bybit stated that the affected team members have moved to other internal roles, aligning with their strategic goals. Notcoin, a cryptocurrency game on Telegram with 35 million users, faced deposit delays on May 16, causing losses as users couldn't sell the asset immediately. Bybit received 370,000 on-chain transactions, with 70% credited before the market went live.
