Blockara Company, based in Rajkot, Gujarat, orchestrated a massive cryptocurrency scam, defrauding over 8,000 investors of approximately Rs 300 crore. The company lured individuals by launching a cryptocurrency called TABC and promising daily returns of Rs 4,000 on an investment of Rs 4.25 lakh, with a maturity payout exceeding Rs 12 lakh. They further enticed investors by claiming that TABC's value would surge to $300, leading to potential profits in crores. To gain trust, the perpetrators organized meetings and Zoom calls across multiple locations, including Mumbai and various five-star hotels. After two years of false assurances, the company's founders and associates have absconded, leaving investors devastated.
