BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, is reportedly seeking discussions with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to discuss the possibility of approving a spot Bitcoin ETF. This comes as the SEC continues to delay its decision on several spot Bitcoin ETF applications. A BlackRock spokesperson told CoinDesk that the firm is "engaged with the SEC on a number of issues related to digital assets, including spot Bitcoin ETFs." The spokesperson added that BlackRock is "committed to working with the SEC to develop a regulatory framework that supports the growth of a safe and transparent digital asset ecosystem."
