Bitcoin, according to Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, is at a huge competitive disadvantage due to its poor speeds and will be supplanted by proof-of-stake networks. He also chastised the Bitcoin community for being hesitant to expand beyond the cryptocurrency's foundation layer, calling the second-layer scaling solutions "very vulnerable." Hoskinson did agree, though, that the quest for crypto domination is a "far more sophisticated game" than Bitcoin and Ethereum combat.
