Taproot Wizards, a Bitcoin Ordinals startup, has raised $7.5 million in a seed funding round led by venture capital firm Standard Crypto. The funding will be used to expand the Taproot Wizards team, develop new features, and promote the adoption of Bitcoin Ordinals. Taproot Wizards is a project that creates NFT-like assets on Bitcoin using the Ordinals protocol. Ordinals is a new protocol that allows people to inscribe data on individual satoshis, the smallest unit of Bitcoin. This has created a new way to create NFTs on Bitcoin, and Taproot Wizards is one of the first projects to take advantage of this technology.
