On Tuesday, BitMex, one of the world’s major Crypto derivatives trading platforms, agreed to pay $100 million to the CFTC and FinCen to settle allegations. As per reports, the Crypto exchange enabled unlawful trading for years, implying that it also broke anti-money laundering regulations. According to the CFTC, BitMex breached the law by allowing U.S. residents to trade Cryptos from November 2014 until October 2020.
