Hong Kong Binance users are being targeted by a phishing scam amid the ongoing JPEX cryptocurrency scandal. The scam involves sending fraudulent emails to users that appear to be from the exchange. The emails contain links to fake websites that look like the Binance login page. Once a user enters their credentials on the fake website, the scammers are able to steal their account and funds. The article warns users to be vigilant and to never click on links in emails from unknown senders. It also provides some tips to help users avoid phishing scams, such as hovering over links before clicking on them to see the actual URL, making sure that the website they are visiting is the official website of the company they are trying to access, looking for the HTTPS lock icon in the address bar, and enabling two-factor authentication on all of their online accounts.
