Binance has appointed UK-based Grant Thornton as a global accounting and tax advisor. The firm will help Binance prepare for future audits by advising on technical accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This move comes after Binance's previous collaboration with Mazars, which paused its Proof-of-Reserves reports in 2022. The partnership with Grant Thornton is part of Binance’s strategy to enhance transparency, improve its governance, and align with regulatory expectations as scrutiny of cryptocurrency exchanges intensifies globally.
