Binance co-founder and former CEO, Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, has expressed concerns over the exchange's token listing process after the unexpected listing of the Test (TST) token. Originally created for a BNB Chain tutorial, TST was not intended for public trading. However, following its mention, the token was rapidly listed on Binance, leading to significant price volatility. CZ criticized the current procedure, highlighting the four-hour window between a listing announcement and the actual listing as problematic. He noted that during this period, token prices often surge on decentralized exchanges, only to decline once listed on centralized platforms like Binance. CZ suggested that centralized exchanges should consider automating listings, similar to decentralized exchanges, to mitigate such issues.
