The funding round was led by Ava Labs, the company behind the Avalanche blockchain. Stars Arena allows users to invest in their favorite creators by purchasing tokens that represent their shares of the creator's income. Creators can use Stars Arena to monetize their content and build closer relationships with their fans. The hack in September 2023 resulted in the theft of over $1 million worth of cryptocurrencies from Stars Arena. However, the team behind Stars Arena has been working to recover the stolen funds and reopen the platform.
