Anhui province has become the country's latest regional county to outlaw Bitcoin mining, only weeks after the government announced a tough crackdown on the practise. The move comes just weeks after China's state council threatened to tighten its grip on Bitcoin mining and trade, which was once a vibrant industry. As of early-2021, Chinese organisations such as F2Pool, Huobi, and others account for about 75% of Bitcoin's hashrate.
