Beniamin Mincu is the founder and CEO of MultiversX (formerly Elrond), a blockchain platform focused on high scalability, fast transaction speeds, and low costs. Born in Romania, Mincu studied computer science and began his career exploring blockchain technology in 2014. He played a key role in startups and blockchain projects like NEM before launching Elrond in 2017. Under his leadership, MultiversX introduced innovative solutions like Adaptive State Sharding and Secure Proof-of-Stake consensus, enabling 15,000+ transactions per second. Mincu’s vision centers on creating a decentralized, efficient digital economy. His contributions have significantly advanced blockchain’s real-world applicability and adoption.
