A recent report reveals that hackers were able to exploit savings pools at Gibraltar-based decentralized finance protocol Akropolis, and took away more than $2 million in stablecoins. Back on April 12, the firm has stated on Twitter that it had identified a hack “executed across a body of smart contracts in the savings pools.” As per the ethereum blockchain records, hackers took away more than 2,030,850 Dai (DAI) by exploiting these savings pools and later moved the funds to a different address.
