Yellow Card, an African cryptocurrency startup, raised $33 million in a Series B extension round led by Blockchain Capital. The funding will help Yellow Card scale its business-to-business (B2B) pivot, enabling businesses across Africa to access financial services powered by crypto infrastructure. Initially focused on crypto retail services, Yellow Card is shifting towards B2B to better address the continent's growing demand for seamless cross-border payments, remittances, and financial inclusion. The funding round also saw participation from other investors, including Valor Equity Partners. Yellow Card plans to use the capital to expand its services across more African markets.
