Coinberry of Canada has collaborated with the Richmond Hill, one of Canada’s most populous municipality to make it possible for their citizens of paying property tax in the form of cryptocurrency Bitcoin. This proposal was brought by the city’s Deputy Mayor Joe Di Paola before the City Council, he highlighted the expanded application of the cryptocurrencies and how young people are more prone to crypto assets. It is a second partnership between Coinberry and Canada’s municipality less than six months. Before Richmond Hill, Innisfil is the first town in Canada to have Bitcoin as a payment method for the property tax.
