South Korea’s largest bank is going to build a blockchain-based system that will ensure the security of its customers’ personal information. The bank has come in the agreement with messaging giant Kakao’s blockchain unit Ground X and blockchain laboratory Hexlant. This partnership will develop the Private Key Management System and its testing will be carried out by October. The Shinhan Bank has total assets of around $375 billion and it also provided funds to local cryptocurrency exchange Gopax last year.
