The jury for the trial of Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has been revealed. The jury consists of 12 jurors and six alternates, and includes a diverse group of individuals with a variety of backgrounds. Bankman-Fried is facing seven charges of fraud and conspiracy stemming from the collapse of FTX in November 2022. Prosecutors allege that he defrauded investors and customers by commingling FTX customer funds with his own hedge fund, Alameda Research. Bankman-Fried has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His trial is expected to last several weeks. The outcome of this trial will have a significant impact on the future of the cryptocurrency industry.
