On the NFT marketplace Foundation, the 'Friendship Ended With Mudasir' meme was auctioned off as a non-fungible token.
Andrew Kang, co-founder of crypto investment firm Mechanism Capital, bought the NFT for 20 ETH ($52,174). Harambe, Dust Storm Dog, and Suh Dude are three more memes he owns. In February, Raza Raza, the creator of Nyan Cat, sold his tokens as NFTs for $580,000.
