After an alleged cyberattack, the price of the SafeDollar (SDO) stablecoin has dropped to zero. While specifics are still limited, block explorer Polygonscan reports that SDO's smart contract was drained of 202,000 USDC and 46,000 USDT stablecoins today, totaling about $248,000 in value. As a result, SafeDollar's price has fallen below $1, despite the fact that it is a stablecoin. Stablecoins are a sort of cryptocurrency token that is tied to a fiat currency.
