Johannesburg, South Africa – The International Center for Strategic Alliances (ICSA) will host the 28th Connected Banking Summit – Innovation & Excellence Awards 2026 Southern Africa on 14 October 2026 at NH Johannesburg Sandton, South Africa, bringing together leaders from the banking and fintech sectors to discuss the next phase of financial-services modernization in the region.
Held under the theme “Advancing Intelligent Banking, Security, and Enterprise Digital Modernization in South Africa,” the one-day summit aims to foster a secure, inclusive, and resilient financial ecosystem, exploring how technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and open banking can be harnessed while ensuring security and trust.
The agenda spans building resilient financial ecosystems, AI-driven banking transformation, cybersecurity and Zero Trust frameworks, fintech and bank collaboration for inclusion, payments and customer experience, open banking, digital lending, mobile banking for financial inclusion, cloud infrastructure, cross-border payments and trade finance, and sustainable finance.
