Lil Yachty Will Release Ethereum Based Crypto Art In Coming Week
The renowned rapper, Lil Yachty sold $375,000 worth of his new cryptocurrency, Yachty Tokens, in an ICO has shared a limited edition crypto art with his 5.2M followers on Twitter.
He shared an animation of his Yachty coin which was launched with social money platform Fyooz, to the soundtrack of one of his songs.
The rapper stated that he is working on a collaboration with the Winklevoss twins’ NFT arthouse platform, Nifty Gateway. He will sell the project art on 15th December at 7 pm.
However, Yachty coins will not be sold in ICO but in a new type of cryptocurrency called a “non-fungible token.” These tokens are unique cryptocurrencies that can’t be swapped for another; that makes them perfect for selling digital art.
Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss-owned platform, Nifty Gateway, is hosting this sale that sells one-of-a-kind digital art tokens. As per the sources, Yachty will be selling one NFT token called Yachty coin which sale is scheduled for December 15 at 7 pm. There will not be a minimum bid.
A social money platform, Fyooz pays Lil Yachty to promote the platform. He has split the proceeds from the token sale down the middle with Fyooz.
