CryptoWire Introduces India’s First Crypto Index ‘IC15'
On Monday, a Crypto super app, CryptoWire, announced the launch of India’s first Crypto index, IC15. It aims to empower the knowledge on the Blockchain ecosystem. The IC15 index will measure and track the performance of the top 15 global Cryptocurrencies listed on leading Cryptocurrency exchanges of the world.
The platform will monitor Crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Litecoin, Binance coin, Chainlink, Polkadot, Uniswap, Dogecoin, Solana, Terra, Avalanche, and Shiba Inu.
The CryptoWire index governance committee is consistent with industry practitioners and academicians, domain experts, who will maintain, monitor, and administer the index and rebalance it every quarter.
Currently, the base value of the index is 10,000, and the base date is 1st April 2018. The IC15 index’s open value stood at 71,463.30 points on 1st January.
The CEO and managing director of CryptoWire, Jigish Sonagara said, “With the launch of India’s first index of crypto, IC15, we intend to complete the knowledge circle for the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. The company claims that the IC15 index is designed to offer insights for Crypto mining and work as a mirror of the underlying Cryptocurrency market, which will diversify the representation of the market sentiments.
The IC15 index allows Crypto investors, enthusiasts, and investment managers to keep an eye on the performance of Cryptocurrencies in the global market.
