Cardano Traders And Investors Expecting Higher Breakout In Price
As per the Santiment on-chain metric provider, Cardano investors and traders are expecting a breakout. In March, Cardano gained more than 50% of its value.
Cardano surged 6% to its value in the last 24 hours and traders pushed the coin to a breakout. Santiment indicated that the crowd is euphoric toward ADA. Usually, the metric counts the number of posts containing bullish hashtags or words on social media platforms like Twitter.
Earlier, Cardano recorded itself in the list of top 10 tokens and coins by market capitalization, beating Avalanche in terms of capitalization with $32 billion against AVAX's $21 billion. In order to secure its place in the list of top 5 tokens, Cardano's market cap needs to exceed $50 billion and move the current fifth-biggest digital asset, USD Coin.
While there is still a positive sentiment in the community, it must somehow be tied to the technical performance of the asset. Since last summer 2021, the technical performance of the asset remained downward after recording an all-time high.
As per the daily chart provided by TradingView, Cardano was able to survive the selling pressure of bears that have followed general market tendencies. ADA dropped by 20% from the local high and then entered the consolidation channel instead of reaching a lower low, which would have shown a continuation of the downtrend.
Currently, Cardano is trading at $0.9 and moves in a short-term consolidation channel with its borders remaining at $0.95 and $0.92.
